| Joe & I go back a long time. We both grew up in Astoria NY, around the block from each other. I used to see him around the neighborhood, but never knew he was a musician until after I was playing with a group called The Jewels in NYC. I saw him carrying a guitar case and that started the conversation that led to a very long musical journey. We played many gigs in many incarnations of many bands. He was a very talented guitar player, but was a guitar "craftsman" as well. Even though he is gone, he is still a legend in Astoria. He is really missed. |
